Research & Education

The offerings on ATFX in terms of education are somewhat limited. There is an FAQ section for trading as well as one for MetaTrader 4, both of which will answer the basic questions. There is also a section titled “Basic Knowledge of Forex.” Overall, however, most beginners will wish that there are more educational resources while advanced traders may wish for webinars and advanced educational tools.

Advanced traders will, however, appreciate the Trading Central integration that includes Chartist Analysis, Mathematical Models, Japanese Candlesticks and their signals, and various indicators. There is also an economic calendar available from ATFX, with the expected information, such as time, date, currency, description, importance, actual, forecast, and previous.

Noteworthy Points

Those considering signing up for an account with ATFX will want to take advantage of the $100 Welcome Credit for a deposit of at least $200 USD, which is the minimum for a Standard Account. There is also a Rebate Promotion that lets you get as much as $2,500 cash back. This promotion works via rebates per each full completed lot and occurs in five levels so you get a greater rebate if you have a higher deposit and trade more. ATFX is also a sponsor of the Duke of Edinburgh Cup China Event 2018.

Conclusion

ATFX is a broker that is well-regulated by both the FCA and CySEC, giving clients a feeling of security with their funds. The broker offers two main account types to appeal to both traders who prefer lower spreads and commissions and those who do not want commissions. The demo account is helpful, although some traders will feel that educational and research tools are lacking. Due to the lack of educational resources, ATFX is best for traders who already have some forex and CFD knowledge.
